Feelmore and we have two locations, one in Oakland, CA and another in Berkeley, CA.
What made you want to open up an adult novelty store?
Always wanted a retail store but with sex toys, I get to heal myself day in and day out by practicing my boundaries & exercising my voice.
What makes your store different? As the buyer, what I buy makes it different. I also purchase with cultural relevance and sensitivity in mind.
What is your best selling item? Masturbation sleeves for men & lube for sure.
Do you host events in your store? If so what kind of events? We don't host but allow facilitators to rent the space for their events if they fit.
What Is the best part about owning an adult toy store? Making a living for myself.
What advice do you have for someone wanting to start their own brick and mortar store? No matter what the industry: just don't be afraid to fail. Fail fast and fail often is the true way to be successful!
